Rydeen Reveals Advanced Vehicle Technology Products at SEMA 2014

TORRANCE, CA (10.31.2014) – Rydeen Mobile Electronics announced today that its next 2 entries in their new AVT Line of products, the CM-S500 Side Cam and PVR-15W Advanced Warning System will be displayed at SEMA 2014 in North Hall of LVCC Booth # 12039. “Driver Safety has become the fastest growing category in Mobile Electronics and at Rydeen Mobile Electronics it is our core competency, says Bob Goodman, national sales manager. Our RDV360 Surround View 4 Camera System has been adopted by many of the premier installers in the US and its acceptance has led to additional products being developed under the AVT badge.” The first of these is the New CM-S500 Side Cam. This innovative and advanced Camera eliminates the “Blind Spot” inherent in many vehicles by turning on a monitor in the vehicle when the right hand turn signal is applied yielding an unobstructed view of the right side of the vehicle under most lighting conditions. Features include a Super CMOS IV processor with Night Vision Technology enabling a 150 ^o Side View Angle (Diagonal) with a resolution of  480 TV Lines. Additional features include selectable side view assist lines and a weather resistant  EPDM Housing. The CM-S500 has a suggested retail price of $199.

• Next up is the PVR-15W Advance Warning System that is essentially 3 systems housed in one compact unit that docks on the windshield behind the rear view mirror, much like a Radar Detector. “This highly advanced unit incorporates a Collision Avoidance System, Lane Departure Warning and DVR with built in GPS and G Sensor, a combination of features not found even in the most expensive vehicles, says Goodman.” The Collision Avoidance System measures the distance and speed of the installed vehicle and the vehicle directly in front and alerts the driver if the vehicle is approaching too quickly. The Lane Departure system will alert the driver if the vehicle veers out of lanes without the applicable turn signal being applied and the DVR will record continuously and record any event triggered by the built in G-Sensor, such as a collision or vehicle hit while parked. It marks the recorded event so it will not be erased from the included SD Card. The DVR features Normal, Event and Manual recording modes in 1280 x 720 HD Resolution, Records in AVI format and can be played back on any device with a supporting player and includes Windows software that incorporates GPS data, recording and mapping for review. This system is fully customizable and will install with calibration in less than one hour. It includes a wireless remote control and 8GB SD Card (expandable to 32GB). The PVR-15W has a suggested retail price of $499. Both products will be available in December.
