  • Backup camera connected but no picture

    TURN ON PIP (Picture In Picture) which is under the SETTINGS menu.

  • How big of a microSD card will the unit support?

    400 GB (tested-proven)

  • Does microSD need to be in the mirror?

    YES, it is required to have the microSD inserted inside the mirror unit all times, as it is the primary storage device. Without having the microSD inside the mirror, DVR will not record.

  • Can I expand the volume output from unit?

    SSD or flash drive connected via USB-C is the 2nd storage device for backing up the recoded video & picture files recorded on the primary storage (microSD inside the mirror). The USB-C connection to SSD supports up to 2 TB storage size.

  • Does this unit use a cloud service?

    NO, this is a high resolution unit and can be played back instantly using the touchscreen monitor.

  • Where do I get the video playback software for PC?

    Provided inside the original microSD card is an EXE file that contains the video playback software. Please install this to your PC for viewing the video files from Tombo360 by referring to your owner’s manual (page 27) or visit rydeenmobile.com/wp-content/uploads/TOMBO-360-user-manual.pdf

  • What kind of vehicles mounts will this work for?

    With the PROKIT 1, VSM-A mount is included which is used for most GM, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Ford and Hyundai vehicles. Also included in the PROKIT 1 are universal mounts that can adapt to almost any factory stem.

  • Can you use any RYDEEN backup camera to display with the Tombo360?

    NO, the video format is AHD. As of now, all other Rydeen cameras are CVBS video format. *PLEASE USE CAMERA FROM PROKIT 1*

  • Can you zoom-in on the picture?

    You can playback the video on a touchscreen laptop, or use the mouse scroll to zoom-in.

  • What speed microSD and SSD is appropriate for use with Tombo360?

    Please use microSD and SSD with class 10 UHS-I speeds, at least 100MB/s or higher.
