MN312R

  • Why is there a blue screen when I enter Reverse?

    If we could please have Dealer/Consumer contact Rydeen Tech Support and request Updated Software.

  • GPS is taking too long to connect.

    Please follow the steps below to start the connection

    – Main “GPS / SETTINGS” screen
    – Press Systems
    – Press GPS Test
    – Press RESET
    – Press “X” to exit out and launch GPS. Mirror will connect to the GPS

  • How do I activate Line Out with the MN312R?

    Long press volume key, and check LINE OUT.

  • Can I expand the volume output from unit?

    The MN312R has Low Level Audio output. If desired, press and hold the volume button on the mirror then select “Audio line out”

  • Why is temperature showing N/A?

    Check and make sure the temperature probe is connected completely to harness.

  • Temperature is too high?

    Need to relocate the temperature probe to different location, making sure it is away from any type of heat source.

  • Bluetooth isn't connecting

    Make sure your phone Bluetooth is in search mode and discoverable. Also need to make sure your phone is not connected to any other Bluetooth source.

  • Android Phone keep connecting

    This is a common issue with Android phones. Even if the user deletes the Bluetooth address from the phone, the phone will still remember and reconnect automatically.

  • How do I activate voice dial?

    Bluetooth must be connected, to activate the phones voice command simply hold your hand in front of  MD4BT

  • How do I mirror my phone to the monitor of the mirror?

    MD4BT uses HDMI input, make sure your smart phone or tablet has HDMI output, check with carriers.

  • What is the green wire for in harness?

    This wire requires no installation, Our mirrors already have video voltage sensing in Camera Input, so monitor will trigger the image automatically if camera is powered on.

  • What is the V1 input for?

    V1 video input is for secondary camera (Front Camera) or another video source. Camera input is the priority and will always override Video 1 when both video inputs are active

  • How do I adjust the brightness on image?

    Video should be activated on Camera input, while the monitor is active, press the power button on the mirror repetitively and the user will see a percentage bar.

  • What are the 2 windows on each side of the power button?

    The window on the right turns GREEN to indicate the power and the window on the left is a sensor to adjust the brightness of the monitor automatically.

MV432T (4.3inch LCD with Temp & Compass)

  • How do I Calibrate?

    Press and hold the power button for 8 seconds (temp/compass display must flash twice) to go to “SETTINGS”. Display should show “CF” for Celsius & Fahrenheit and the installer can change the Celsius to Fahrenheit by pressing the button once. After selecting the unit, press and hold the button for 4 seconds to go to the next setting. The next is going to be setting the compass manually. This can be set by checking the coordination of the current location. The next setting is the automatic compass calibration. Press and hold the button for 4 seconds to proceed to the next setting. Once in the Automatic calibration, the display will start counting from 0-200. At the 20th second, start driving the vehicle in a big circle going counter clockwise and the speed can’t exceed no more than 5mph. After the 2ndlap, stop the vehicle and press the button to accept the calibration. Youtube Video for Calibration

  • What is the V1 input for?
